1. In order to secure your event date a deposit is required. A date and time will not be considered reserved until a deposit is received. If you cancel within 60 days of the event, your deposit will not be refunded. 2. Make arrangements for insurance, security and Fire Marshall, as required by your contract. The Santa Monica Fire Department can be reached at 310-458-8669. 3. If alcohol is being served, call the Alcohol Beverage Control Board at 310-412-6311 to see if a temporary liquor license is required. 4. Make arrangements for pre-paid parking in the Pier parking lot or 1550 beach lot, north of the Pier through Standard Parking at 310-458-8295. 5. Make arrangements for a catering service, party and supply rental and entertainment. We can supply you a list of qualified companies. 6. Make arrangements for delivery, set-up and removal of all party supplies. If arrangements are not made in advance with the Carousel Marketing Staff, your delivery may be refused. Pick-up of all supplies are to be scheduled immediately following the event. 7. Make arrangements for all vendors to obtain a City of Santa Monica business license. The City's Licensing Supervisor, Debby Sowers, can be reached at 310-458-8745. 8. When planning, remember decorations, signs, banners, etc. may not be affixed in any way to the exterior or interior of the building. |
