Santa Monica Drive-In at the Pier Returns!
Presented by Castello di Gabbiano winery
The summer classic returns - movies over the water and under the stars! You won't need your car to enjoy the classic ambiance of this very special event. Just bring something - or someone - to keep you warm as the Pier screens a variety of films on a huge screen under the night sky for four weeks every Thursday evening from September 6 through September 27 for a great cause, The Cancer Relief Fund. Admission is FREE but tickets will be required for entry.Please note that the events will be held on THURSDAYS this season.
SCHEDULE September 6 Who Killed the Electric Car?

Come to an environmental festival and panel discussion prior to this acclaimed documentary on the rise, fall, and necessary resurrection of the alternative fuel vehicle.
September 13 VOX Lumiere Metropolis
Featuring a live theatrical performance by Vox Lumiere
VOX Lumiere reinvents silent films with exciting new music and dance, creating a completely new entertainment experience. The classic film Metropolis, and it's political and modernist themes, explode off the screen and into the rock arena.
September 20 Roman Holiday
Presented by Castello di Gabbiano
Audrey Heburn and Gregory Peck star in this immortal classic about an Italian princess who escapes her royal confinements and falls in love with an American newsman. Pretend you're on holiday as well - Castello di Gabbiano winery will host a tasting of their selections in the wine pavilion from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
September 27 Moonstruck
Presented by Castello di Gabbiano
In honor of Moonstruck's 20th anniversary, join us early this evening for a wine tasting in the pavilion and a cooking demonstration starring Chef Claud Mann of "Dinner and a Movie", courtesy of Presenting Sponsor Tuscany's Castello di Gabbiano winery! The wine pavilion will be open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will feature a selection of Castello di Gabbiano wines. Demonstration takes place at 7 p.m., movie rolls at 8 p.m.
TIME
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the movies start at sunset (approximately 8:00PM).
Come early to get a good spot!

Admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets are available on the Wednesday prior to each weeks' screening starting August 30. Tickets must be picked up in advance at any of the following locations:

RENTAL CHAIRS
Comfy folding chairs will be available for $5.00. Proceeds benefit the Cancer Relief Fund.
PARKING
Public Parking is available in the Beach Lots near the Pier for $5-$8 per vehicle. Please check hours and cost of the lots before parking.
You can also walk, bike or ride the bus!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- No cars allowed!
- The Pier is often chilly at sunset, then warmer after dark. Bring a jacket or blanket to keep warm!
- Refreshments will be available for purchase.
- No alcohol allowed.
- No smoking allowed, although there are designated smoking areas available on the pier.
- NO VEHICLES will be allowed inside the event.
- Screenings will take place rain or shine.
