About the Bands
Implicit Bias formed in 2024 in Venice, California, playing music that exudes raw aggression. Heavily influenced by 80s and 90s hardcore and punk, the band fuses a range of influences into a unique and versatile sound. Frontman and vocalist Julian Crawford founded the band with lead guitarist Bodhi Younger, bringing on bassist Cruz Jones shortly after. After playing with a rotating cast of members, the lineup solidified with Sterling Fredrickson on drums and Jay Vargas on rhythm guitar.

Based in Los Angeles, Riptide is a band of young rockers slinging way more passion and technical skill than their ages would suggest. Longtime friends Bodhi (13) and Arjun (12) shred guitars and trade off vocals, backed by the sibling rhythm section of Caden (11) pounding the drums and Kyla (9) locking down the low end on bass like it's no big deal. Whether tearing through covers by their hard-rocking heroes or unleashing their own original songs, Riptide takes the stage and lights it on fire. Like a powerful ocean current, the natural force of Riptide will sweep you off your feet and pull you out to sea.
